High Performance Heating and Cooling
The AP71 model delivers 7.1 kW of cooling and 8.0 kW of heating, with wide capacity ranges (2.0–8.7 kW cooling / 2.2–9.9 kW heating) to match your home’s seasonal needs. Designed for reliable comfort even in the coldest New Zealand winters.
Quiet Operation for Ultimate Comfort
The EcoCore AP Series is New Zealand’s quietest high wall heat pump, with the indoor unit starting from just 18 dBA on its lowest fan speed. Night Mode reduces outdoor unit noise by a further 3 dBA, dims the indicator light and disables beeps — perfect for bedrooms or noise-sensitive areas.
Advanced Clean Air Technology
The patented Dual Barrier Coating prevents dust and dirt from building up on key internal components like the heat exchanger and fan. This keeps your system clean, efficient and odour-free all year round.
The washable Air Purifying Filter captures dust, pollen and airborne contaminants, providing antibacterial and deodorising effects and improving indoor air quality. Optional Plasma Quad Connect can also be added for advanced two-stage air filtration.

Powered by next-generation R32 refrigerant, the EcoCore AP Series offers improved energy efficiency and a much lower global warming potential than older refrigerants.
A Blue Fin anti-corrosion coating on the outdoor unit protects against salt and sulphur, making it ideal for coastal and high-sulphur areas across New Zealand.
Horizontal airflow eliminates draughts by distributing air evenly across the ceiling during cooling.
Smart Control Ready
The system can be upgraded with the award-winning Mitsubishi Electric Wi-Fi Control system, allowing you to control and monitor your heat pump from anywhere using your smartphone, tablet or online account.
